Project Description
The Challenge:
Our client in Arlington, VA, had an original bathroom layout that featured both a bathtub and a walk-in shower. However, the space suffered from a lack of efficient storage. Furthermore, the existing white cabinetry felt distinctly outdated when compared to the updated style of the rest of the home.
The Kitchen & Bath Masters Solution:
To create a more functional and cohesive space, our design team initiated a complete bathroom remodeling project and entirely reimagined the layout. We transformed the original walk-in shower area into a custom pantry style storage cabinet, which added much-needed organization while maximizing the available space. Additionally, we removed the underutilized bathtub and replaced it with a spacious walk-in shower, beautifully finished with hexagon pattern tile. This specific detail introduced texture and a highly modern design element to the room. To finalize the design, the outdated white cabinets were fully replaced with stunning new black cabinetry.
The Outcome:
This renovation delivered a thoughtful balance of functionality and design. The bold contrast created by the black cabinetry allowed the bathroom to better align with the home’s overall style. Ultimately, storage was vastly improved, the bathroom was completely modernized, and the overall aesthetic of the home was successfully enhanced.
