FAQ

Kitchen remodeling questions, answered

Most remodels run a few weeks from demolition to final walkthrough once materials arrive. The exact timeline depends on scope — layout changes, cabinetry lead times, countertop templating — and we confirm a schedule with you before work begins.

Yes — most of our clients do. We contain dust, protect floors and pathways, and schedule any water or power downtime with you in advance so daily life keeps moving.

It depends on scope — moving walls, plumbing, or electrical typically requires permits, while cosmetic updates often don’t. We pull all required Arlington County permits and coordinate inspections as part of the contract.

Every project is different — layout, cabinetry, and material choices drive the number. That’s exactly why estimates are free: you get a clear scope and a fixed written price for your space before committing to anything.

Project Description

The Challenge:
Our client in Washington, DC, was dealing with an existing bathroom that was outdated and lacked both functionality and storage. With no vanity or cabinetry, the space felt inefficient and did not meet the needs of modern daily use.

The Kitchen & Bath Masters Solution:
To resolve these issues, our design team initiated a comprehensive bathroom remodeling project. To improve both layout and usability, we reconfigured the space by dividing it into two separate bathrooms. This allowed us to introduce a new master bathroom connected to the bedroom, while also creating a second, fully functional bathroom.

In one of the bathrooms, we maintained a clean and timeless white palette to achieve a simple and practical design. A new vanity and dedicated storage solutions were incorporated, significantly improving organization and everyday functionality while keeping the space bright and fresh. In contrast, the second bathroom was designed with a more bold and modern approach. Deep navy tones were used on the walls and tiles, paired with white and gray mosaic floor tiles to create a refined contrast. This combination added visual depth while complementing the overall style and ambiance of the home.

The Outcome:
The result is a well-balanced transformation that enhances both functionality and design. The two bathrooms now serve distinct purposes while offering a cohesive, modern look that aligns seamlessly with the rest of the home.
