Project Description
The Challenge:
We began this project to replace our client’s worn-out and inefficient kitchen cabinetry in Annandale, VA. The existing builder-grade cabinets were outdated, deteriorating, and no longer meeting the client’s needs in terms of functionality or quality. Additionally, the space was hindered by a bulky and outdated bulkhead.
The Kitchen & Bath Masters Solution:
To address this, our design team executed a comprehensive kitchen remodeling project. We upgraded the space with high-quality cabinetry from J&K Cabinetry, providing a more durable and modern solution. As part of the redesign, we removed the bulky and outdated bulkhead to open up the space and create a cleaner, more streamlined look. To maximize storage and improve usability, we installed larger wall cabinets, giving the client significantly more functional storage space.
For the backsplash, we selected a dark green tile that complements the living room wall color, creating a cohesive flow between spaces. Champagne bronze cabinet handles were added to enhance the overall aesthetic and bring a modern, elegant touch to the kitchen. In addition, the kitchen walls and ceiling were repainted in a color that aligns with the overall design vision. At the client’s request, we also incorporated toe-kick drawers beneath the pantry and base cabinets, adding discreet yet highly functional storage.
The Outcome:
The result is a smooth, refined, and highly functional kitchen that better serves the client’s daily needs while offering a fresh and updated look.
