Replacing a 20-Year-Old Kitchen with Sleek Frameless Cabinets
After 20 years with the same kitchen, the homeowner in Greenbelt, MD wanted a modern update. Kitchen & Bath Masters designed a European-style kitchen with polished gray frameless Millwork cabinets, MSI quartz, bold black fixtures and new LVT flooring.
The starting point
The old wood-style cabinets were low and dated, and the dark countertops and floor made the room feel uninviting.
Our solution
- Frameless gray cabinetry: Flat-panel European cabinets create clean, modern lines.
- Light quartz and island: White veined quartz countertops on a new island and perimeter brighten the room.
- Black fixtures: A black sink, faucet, hardware and range hood add striking contrast.
- LVT flooring: Durable luxury vinyl in a light tone complements the new palette.
- Desk area: Floating shelves and a built-in desk area add function beyond cooking.
