Modern White Tile Fireplace Remodeling in Alexandria, VA
A 1-week fireplace remodel in Alexandria, VA: Kitchen & Bath Masters replaced a busy blue patterned tile surround with clean white porcelain tile and a quartz top, making the fireplace a modern focal point.
Project Description
Updating a Patterned Blue Fireplace Surround with White Tile
Kitchen & Bath Masters refreshed this fireplace in Alexandria, VA by replacing the vibrant, intricately patterned blue tile with sophisticated white porcelain tile and a quartz top, so the fireplace itself became the star of the room.
The starting point
The ornate blue tile drew attention away from the fireplace and made the living room feel busy and dated.
Our solution
- Tile removal: The old patterned tile was removed carefully to protect the firebox and surrounding walls.
- White porcelain tile: Clean white tile brings understated luxury and modern simplicity.
- Quartz surface: A quartz top adds a durable, polished finish.
- Fast turnaround: The full update took about 1 week.
The result
The fireplace went from a bold pattern to a calm, timeless focal point that blends classic charm with contemporary style and improves the ambiance of the whole room.
