Project Description
Warm Maple Cabinets, Moisture Repair and New LVP Flooring
Kitchen & Bath Masters upgraded this Arlington, VA kitchen with warm Maple Cognac Waypoint Cabinets, bright MSI quartz countertops and new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, and fixed a hidden moisture problem along the way.
The starting point
Over time the kitchen walls had developed slight dampness. The flooring was worn and dated, and the homeowner wanted a fresh look with long-lasting materials.
Our solution
- Moisture repair: The damp areas were treated and the walls given a fresh protective coating before any cabinets went in, for a healthier, longer-lasting kitchen.
- Maple Cognac cabinetry: Full-overlay Waypoint shaker cabinets in a rich cognac stain bring warmth and a traditional look.
- White MSI quartz: Light quartz countertops contrast with the warm wood and brighten the work areas.
- LVP flooring: Durable, water-resistant LVP in a cool gray tone gives the kitchen a modern base that’s easy to maintain.
The result
The kitchen is now healthier, more functional and visually balanced, with warm wood, bright counters and flooring made for daily life.
