Project Description
A Bright Family Kitchen with a Statement Range Hood in Aldie
Kitchen & Bath Masters revamped this open-concept kitchen in Aldie, VA into a bright family space. We installed Painted Vanilla shaker Waypoint Cabinets, quartz countertops, a statement range hood and warm wood-tone flooring.
The starting point
The kitchen was outdated and didn’t match the open, airy home the family wanted. They asked for light cabinetry with contrast underfoot.
Our solution
- White-toned cabinetry: Full-overlay Waypoint shaker cabinets in Painted Vanilla, with glass-front uppers, keep the space airy.
- Statement range hood: A free-standing hood serves as the focal point of the cooking wall.
- Island and quartz: A large island with quartz countertops anchors the open layout.
- Dry bar: A dedicated dry bar area makes entertaining easy.
- Smart storage: A spice pull-out and hidden trash pull-out keep counters clear.
- Floors and backsplash: Wood-tone flooring adds warmth, with a subway tile backsplash.
The result
The kitchen is spacious, inviting and practical, a family hub that flows into the living areas.
