A two-tone kitchen uses two cabinet colors, often one on the perimeter and another on the uppers or island. This Falls Church kitchen pairs white and soft gray J&K shaker cabinets. What is Calacatta Laza quartz? Calacatta Laza is an MSI quartz with a white background and soft gray-gold veining that mimics marble. It’s non-porous and low-maintenance. Is a waterfall island worth it? A waterfall edge carries the countertop down the island’s sides, protecting the cabinet ends and making the island a focal point. It works especially well with veined quartz like this project. How do you make a dark kitchen brighter? Lighter cabinets, light quartz and reflective tile. Replacing dark wood and black countertops with white, gray and Calacatta Laza transformed this kitchen. Do you remodel kitchens in Falls Church, VA? Yes.
